BDJ BOX : BER Month Beauty (September 2015)

This month's theme for the BDJ Box is "Ber Month Beauty". It makes me realize that Christmas holiday will soon be here. I really can't wait for that holiday where you dont have to dress up and go to work. It may sound that I am lazy, but honestly, I really need a time off away from work environment.

BDJ Box (Elite) is a monthly beauty subscription box that costs Php 1,480.00 and ships only within Philippines.

This month's box was heavy and bulky. I was so excited to open it and it made me say "Yaaaaaaas!" when I saw a particular item inside.

Here are the items inside:

1. Celeteque Acne-Clearing Concealer
    (2mg/ PHP 269)

2. The Face Shop Oil Control Water Cushion
   (30mg/ PHP 895)

3. Celeteque Acne Cleansing Gel
   (250ml/ PHP 270)

4. Biore Cleansing Oil
   (150ml/ PHP 299)

5. Biore Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheets
  (10 Sheets/ PHP 119)

6. Loreal Professionnel Vitamino Color Shampoo
  (250ml/ PHP 395)

7. Loreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss
  (PHP 425)

8. Gly Derm Stretchmark Cream
  (60ml/ PHP 462)

I was so excited and happy that Gly Derm was included on this Month's box. I really wanted to try it before I can actually make a purchase. I hope that this would work for me.

I really wanted to try everything except for the Cleansing oil and the Water Cushion. Im not a big fan of both. The Loreal shampoo on the other hand will be kept for future use.

I wonder if BDJ Box will resume sending Elite Boxes by next year. So far, I am loving the 2 elite boxes. Though it is pricey, the items inside are full sizes rather than the trial packs on the regular BDJ boxes.  I mean, I dont mind paying it as long as it is really worth it,  agree?

LBC Shipping Cart: Experience and Review

I have received a request on my IG account (@qspeaks) to share my experience for this service. Shout out to @stef_ch ! :)

I have received a newsletter from my email on BPI months ago, They are giving away a discount to their BPI cardholders on this service called "LBC Shipping Cart". Out of curiosity, I checked their website: https://lbcshippingcart.ph. Amidst the battle and scandals on the BOC's policy and ridiculously big taxes as well as the missing items on the balikbayan boxes from different cargo/courier services, I thought to myself, why not try this with a US subscription box.

SS from LBCshippingcart website
LBC Shipping cart enables the local customers to purchase items in the US online stores to be delivered in their doorsteps. Using your free LBC US address and account number, US online store will ship your item to that address and once the LBC US warehouse received it, you will be notified via email that they have received your item will be added on your account under "My Storage".

If you are new to their website, you have to first create an account. You can either register via email address, link your facebook account or use your TheShop.ph account. Once this is done, you will be given an address together with an account number for you to keep and use as your US shipping address. Be sure to go to your "My Account" and add your PH Address so they will know where to deliver it. Now you're ready to shop.

Just add your LBC US address on to your Online Store account as Shipping Address and Your PH address as billing details that will match to your credit card details. Some Online shop doesn't accept cards addressed in the Philippines nor PayPal. So I think you should avoid this stores to prevent disappointment. lol

Personal Experience:

I personally did not encounter issues with their service. I was able to receive a tracking number from the online store and once LBC received my package, they were able to send me a notification on my email that they indeed received it and will be added on my account to be selected for shipping in the PH. and once it is added, I am able to see a picture of the Items inside. YES. They will open the package and will send you a picture of the content inside.

They have 2 types of shipping, via Air Cargo and Sea Cargo. I choose the Air Cargo since I will be able to receive it within 10-15 days (of course, higher rate than Sea Cargo which would take 45-60 days). I was able to use the BPI promo code and was able to save 15% off my payment for the shipping. Once the payment was made, I was informed that I will be able to receive it by Sept.12-17 and I received it on the 12th.

added stickers to hide infos :D

Gentleman's box and barbox in one Box :)

All the items were intact, nothing was broken or missing.

Here are the 2 boxes I bought and shipped via LBC Shipping cart. Be sure to check them as well.

LBC Shipping details:

Notes:
1. There are certain items that LBC Shipping cart cannot ship to the Philippines, be sure to check their "PROHIBITED ITEMS" section for further information.
2. When adding your LBC US address on the online stores, Be sure to put your Full name, your US address and most important the account Number. You can add this on "Address 2" field or to the "APT/Suite" section.
3. If you will be ordering for appliances, Be sure to check the "Tax Table" section on the LBC Shipping cart website before ordering.
4. Please do check and read the FAQ section to know answer more of your questions.

Update:
Recently, LBC Shipping are experiencing problem with updating the account systems.. If you encountered this, be sure to inform them. I had email them and they said that this is due to a backlog of received items in their warehouse. They are sorting this out now and hopefully all of my orders will be visible soon.

My First Gentlemans Box (August 2015)

I made a decision last month to avail some subscription boxes in US and I picked Gentleman's Box and another one, a subscription box for my pet dog.

The Box that I received is for the month of August which honors "Our Favorite Hollywood Wolf" (I think this could be from the movie, the Wolf of Wallstreet). The box costs $25/month (shipping and taxes included if shipped in the US) and can be shipped Internationally on selected countries.

BlockHaulGeekLab Box⎜August Box: Banana

Apologies for the delayed unboxing post as there was a little problem regarding the delivery service of the BHGL. But It was sorted and was able to receive it on Sept. 4. They apologised and gave me discount on my next box. Honestly, the discount really doesn't matter to me.. As long as they apologised, give a new update on when the box will arrive and make sure that I will receive it on the said day/week. This is how you know that they are good in business. Kudos BHGL team!

I am really excited to receive this box as it is themed "Banana". LOL. Im thinking that there will be a minion, monkey or probably a real banana inside.  Due to the delay, I was able to peek on other subscriber's IG posts about this box and it is really fascinating to see.

This box costs 1,500 plus shipping fee. All items will be related to their monthly theme.

The Sturdy Box (will totes recycle this)
